Brushing your teeth too soon after you eat acidic foods can damage your teeth as you brush away your helpful saliva. Let your saliva do its job and restore your teeth for at least 30 minutes after you eat. Instead of brushing after a meal, consider swishing with water to help wash away the acids from your teeth.
